Versatility is a rarity in baseball, even in the major league. Drew Sutton really does bring it. He doesn’t look like much, but this guy can play. These statistics really show his value and people have taken notice of this guy, since his stellar 2008 season.

“It’s his sick 41 at-bats in the Arizona Fall League that are causing folks to think about Sutton as an addition to the Astros big club”. Chicago could use a batter like Sutton for the 2011 season that is just about to get started.

Just to show one minute your hot the next you are not. , August 2010: Sutton was selected off waivers by the Cleveland Indians from the Cincinnati Reds. Anyway you look at it though, Roseburg, OR should be proud.

Sutton was on a tear and that is fantastic. There’s nothing like making the big leagues. It’s great to have a local hero make it to the big leagues. I know in my neck of the woods we have some players who made it to the majors and it’s good for athletics locally.

Thanks for your effort compiling stats for us to keep up to date on up-and-comers. It’s good to know a pro’s background stats in assessing the future capabilities.
