Glaus' 8 games played at SS in 2006 do qualify him at SS in some leagues. What that means for you is corner infield numbers at SS. That's most fantasy owners dream right?

Glaus is projecting at .253/.358/.509 with 35 home runs and approaching 100 runs scores. You're correct in the fact that you're giving up average, but you're also giving up stolen bases. Some people would make that trade off. The folks drafting over at Mock Draft Central are slotting Glaus at an Average Draft Position of 84.89, with a highest pick slot of 52 and a lowest of 114.

Seems most people are slotting Glaus right after the top notch shortstops.

In some leagues, Troy Glaus qualifies at SS. Where do you think he'd fit in? I would suggest slotting him between Young and Furcal. I mean, we're talking about 38 hr's, and close to 100 runs and rbis despite a poor average.
