I feel like Ian Stewart is the last one taken among these four guys so I'm plugging him as the best sleeper. We have to stop talking about sleepers though or else they just go under the normal term of a fantasy baseball player.

I'm not nearly as optimistic as Jason. I tend to wait until the 15th round, at least, to make a play on guys like these. I'd probably take Cruz before Wieters due MLB experience (or Wieters lack thereof). Before you grab Cruz make sure to view all of his MLB data, not just the small sample size we saw last season.

I'm in the middle of a dynasty draft right now and here's where they've gone:

David Price: 86th pick
Nelson Cruz: 109th pick
Pablo Sandoval: 117th pick
Matt Wieters: Undrafted due to league rules. We aren't allowed to draft players with no MLB experience. We have a separate minor league system.

I have no problem taking Cruz or Sandoval in the 12th but I tend to be one of the optimistic pundits on those two players. Conversely, I have been quite pessimistic with Wieters because if he starts the season with the Orioles, he jumps AAA completely and that is never a good thing. Stewart doesn't have a solid playing time path right now so I'm not looking at him until the last few rounds.

A "Giant" boost to Pablo Sandoval will be if he can gain catcher eligibility during the 2009 season.

Obviously, different leagues, have different requirements - but I think he will in the majority of leagues based on the fact that Bengie Molina turns 35 this season, so his aging knees will benefit from some rest throughout the season.
