		<description>Thanks for the comments Mark.

I think that right now it looks like Manny Ramirez and Orlando Hudson are pretty sure bets for the National League, Bobby Abreu is headed to apparently the Angels, which leaves Adam Dunn as the most prominent unsigned free agent. I haven't heard of any team that is serious or even close to offering him a deal.

This same league, which I dealt with the Clemens situation, will be having their auction draft this Friday night and we are continuing the rule of buying at your own risk when it comes to unsigned players. I will be making a play for Manny Ramirez and yes his bid should be more than Rich Harden's.

<description>Certainly agree that you have to take risks regardless.

Your analogy with Clemens was good, but I think it also illustrates another point - you have to weight the percentages. Given that Clemens had already pitched and enjoyed his time with the Astros the season before, I would have put the chances on Clemens pitching in the NL again at greater than 50%. I would do likewise at this point with Manny.

If I were in an AL only league I would bid more of my "risk money" on someone like A.J. Burnett, who has had his share of arm troubles, than Manny. If it was an NL only league though, I would bid more for Manny than I would for Rich Harden.
