Thank you for visiting Crooked Pitch! While you're here you'll find tons of valuable fantasy baseball information to help you win your fantasy baseball league. There is a good chance that this site will temporarily be offline over the next 48 hours. We’re migrating to a new server and while the transition will hopefully be seamless, we’re preparing for the worst.

Follow me on twitter for the time being until we’re back up and running.

Posting around here has been sparse to say the least lately. And there a few reasons why.

  1. I’ve been spending a lot of time on twitter. I know that you guys can see my posts on twitter in the sidebar, but you really don’t get a feel for the back and forth arguments we get into over there about fantasy baseball. There is a growing handful of fantasy baseball experts dishing out a lot of player info and draft strategy every day. If you’re not following me on twitter, please consider doing so.
  2. I’ve recently finalized a deal with AOL Sports to write about fantasy baseball over at Fanhouse. This is going to be a lot of fun and if you subscribe to the RSS feed here at Crooked Pitch, please consider subscribing to the RSS feed at Fanhouse. Here are a few reasons why?

So, accept my apology for not writing much here at Crooked Pitch lately. And, please, follow me on twitter and subscribe to or visit daily my stuff at Fanhouse.

Just wanted to send out a quick note to mention that I am giving Twitter a test run for about a month or so. I’ve added my feed (plus the tweets of folks that I am following) on the right hand side of the site here. If it’s a hit, I’ll keep it running. If not, oh well…

Let me know what you think. Useful? Fun? Space Hog? Stick to blogging you bozo???

Troy Patterson runs a fabulous website called Daily Roto Pickups. Every day he gives you a pitcher and a hitter that may be available in your league to go grab off of the waiver wire. This is great stuff!

Troy has agreed to write a weekly column for us here. He’ll cover the upcoming weeks’ best free agent pick-ups.

Make sure that you visit Daily Roto Pickups every day.

Troy’s first article should be posted this evening.

The site is experiencing technical difficulties right now. Everything will be back to normal as soon as possible. I apologize for the delay.

I apologize for the “dead air” since Thursday the 20th, but we had some major site problems.

Crooked Pitch was hacked on the 20th and we’ve been unable to post anything new since then. The site has been up and down on a daily basis as well. I think we’ve fixed most of the issues, as I can now post some of the older articles that I had in queue when the site went down.

And, if you’re seeing this post, I can post new articles as well. Sweet!!

Now that we’re back in business, content will start flowing once again.

I’m proud to announce that I will be doing some work this baseball season over at Fanball. Members will be able to read my weekly column at their subscription site, Owner’s Edge. And every once in a while, like this week, they let me come out and play in front of the subscription wall at Roto Times.

Go take a look at my latest article about The Value of Middle Relievers.
