Just wanted to send out a quick note to mention that I am giving Twitter a test run for about a month or so. I’ve added my feed (plus the tweets of folks that I am following) on the right hand side of the site here. If it’s a hit, I’ll keep it running. If not, oh well…
Let me know what you think. Useful? Fun? Space Hog? Stick to blogging you bozo???

Troy Patterson runs a fabulous website called Daily Roto Pickups. Every day he gives you a pitcher and a hitter that may be available in your league to go grab off of the waiver wire. This is great stuff!
Troy has agreed to write a weekly column for us here. He’ll cover the upcoming weeks’ best free agent pick-ups.
Make sure that you visit Daily Roto Pickups every day.
Troy’s first article should be posted this evening.

The site is experiencing technical difficulties right now. Everything will be back to normal as soon as possible. I apologize for the delay.

I apologize for the “dead air” since Thursday the 20th, but we had some major site problems.
Crooked Pitch was hacked on the 20th and we’ve been unable to post anything new since then. The site has been up and down on a daily basis as well. I think we’ve fixed most of the issues, as I can now post some of the older articles that I had in queue when the site went down.
And, if you’re seeing this post, I can post new articles as well. Sweet!!
Now that we’re back in business, content will start flowing once again.

I’m proud to announce that I will be doing some work this baseball season over at Fanball. Members will be able to read my weekly column at their subscription site, Owner’s Edge. And every once in a while, like this week, they let me come out and play in front of the subscription wall at Roto Times.
Go take a look at my latest article about The Value of Middle Relievers.

David Chase, who runs the blog Brock For Broglio, just wrote a very useful piece titled, 101 Best Progressive Baseball Blogs and Resources. I was very happy that he included Crooked Pitch on this list.
David asked at the end of his post if he had missed anyone. There is already a lively interaction in the comments section about which sites he missed. Go check out the list of 101 and all the extras that are being talked about. And David, you missed another one, your own. Brock For Broglio is a must read for any fantasy GM. Davis was modest enough not to add his own site to the list, but he should have!

I stole this idea was inspired by Matt from Fantasy Insider Online to create a MySpace Page for Crooked Pitch. Swing by (pun intended) and give me a shout or join my friend space. You’ll get absolutely nothing for doing so except my utmost respect and admiration. Plus you’ll find a bunch of fantasy resources on my profile page.
